I think that is no driver for that sound card. please send the brand and model of your motherboard and i can find the correct drivers.

    right click the my computer then select properties, click the hardware tab - hardware and see if the yellow question mark is present to multimedia audio device.

My media player and all other applications play on my pc, but i do not get sound out, i'm using windows vista. All volumes are high, but sound doesnt come out. my sound card is built in on the motherboard....

No sound


The problem may be caused because the driver file may be damages due to some reason. To get the sound back you need to run the motherboard cd and install the sound drivers "realtek".

or

you can download them online:-
just enter the name of your motherboard and "sound drivers"

Cannot play audio sounds


Hi

Its simple my friend...Try boot your computer in safe mode by tapping F8 repeatedly at start up... and then re install your sound driver which your were provided with. Use your driver recovery CD

Sound card problem


Hi,

If you have the HP D330 Desktop, you can download the audio driver from HP's Download Page (Windows XP).

If you do not have this model, please post the HP model number and I will find the drivers for you!
