Help! I can't get my Diamond 923SD to work (by 3 users)

Hi all,

I have a Diamond MP3 player that I have not used for a while. After dusting it off and plugging it in my USB, it tells me that the device is not recognized.

The screen shows one of the song titles - and I had it playing for a few seconds then it stopped. None of the buttons are responding and I've moved the "hold" button and pressed all the other ones but nothing changes.

Help!

MY USB IS VERY OLD SO I DON'T HOW TO DO
MY PC IS NOT RECOZNICCED

plays 6 songs and won't let me sync the songs from computer to device
