Hi,

What camera model are you using?

Battery type?
How long have the batteries been used?
If rechargeable, how many times have they been recharged?

If you can post the answers to these questions, I will try to help you out.

I HIGHLY recommend using LITHIUM Batteries..... in the higher capacities for a Digital Camera....They seem to last a lot longer than Alkaline.
In my Compact Canon, I use rechargeables in a High capacity, with Lithiums as a backup for when I am out somewhere.

Format the cards IN THE CAMERA..... as anywhere else they could be that tiny bit out.... I am not 100% sure why but it does happen.
and if any problems when you connect to a Computer.... try a new Cable......

Good Luck and good shooting

This normally means the batteries are all but flat. Try a recharge or a new set of quality AA alkalines before looking for any other solution. High capacity NiMH rechargeables are the best battery, but they won't recharge forever.

Hello i have dsc-T300 it says lens is closed what can i do to turn it on.

This may be a real Flat Battery, what you could try is a replacement battery, if this doesn't fix it, then it must have developed an internal fault, and should be returned to the service agent for a quote for a repair.

Powers on, lens extends, 3 beeps, lens closes, camera turns off

Try doing a couple of things.

1) remove and digital media cards.
2) turn the camera on and delete any pictures that may be stored in the camera memory (not on a removeable card)
3) remove the batteries for 60 seconds
4) replace the batteries without the media card and lay the camera on a flat surface with the lens pointing up (5) The lens should retract.
6) Turn off the camera
7) replace the media card and turn on.

I think the camera was getting hung up on the pictures stored in the camera's memory.

Camera won't turn on

There is a second round battery "hidden" in the camera. Once inside the battery compartment, you will need to unscrew the a second compartment.

After you replace this second round/flat battery, your camera should work great!

Battery charg not charging battert

Found this tip on another site. Connect a PP3 battery to the Exilim battery for 30 seconds. (+ to + and - to -) and then refit to the charging cradle and hey presto, it worked!!! My guess is that it is due to battery being totally flat, and the trickle charge from the charger, isn't enough to get it going. This could also explain why some new baterries have the same problem.

I have HAD the exact same problem. Turns out a whole bunch of people too. But there is a solution. You can get a free new battery by calling the casio technical support. 1-800-435-7732. They are very friendly. They'll ask you a few questions, like where you live, you number and your camera serial number[ under your camera ] and all you have to do is explain to them your problem. I got my new battery and now my camera works as good as new.
