It either has insufficient air flow through the cold coil or some of the refrigerant has leaked out.

Why is my brisk air duo therm rv ac freezing up on the inside.

Where you see frost all the time, wait for unit to thaw and start cooling again and carefully slide hand up in that hole and see if you can feel cool air leaking in from divider that separates cool and return air, that will cause freeze-ups as well. Use foil tape if necessary to stop any cool air coming in to return air from around divider. Also, if you have any diffusers closed, (on ducted system in ceiling) or partially closed, open them all up full flow. If you restrict the cold air from coming out too much, it can also cause freeze up. One more thing, take cover off where cool air box is and double check that something isn't restricting the flow of cold in to the duct work if it has ducted system.

I clean the filter almost everyday because it freezes and no cold air comes out.frigidaire faa068p7a is this normal?

The evaporator maybe dirty. You can flush it water. There is also a spray available at A/C supply for cleaning evaporators. Anyway the evaporator is the radiator looking thing at the front behind the air filter. Air passes through it to provide cooling air. It gets very cold and if the air cannot pass through it will freeze.

How do I change batteries in a Hunter airconditioner thermostat

You should be able to just pull off the front cover. Look around the wall and there should be guides telling you too either pull the bottom out first or somehting like that. The batteries should be just behind the front cover.

Dometic duo-therm air conditioner freezing up

Make sure that you are not running the unit on low fan speed. In the warmer months of the year, this will often cause the unit to freeze up due to the lack of air flow through the evaporator. If you are running on high and it is still freezing, then you possibly have a freon leak in the system. The brisk airs are notorious for the capillary tubes in the upper unit rubbing together and developing a small leak. The problem is usually where the two small tubes enter the evaporator housing. Remove the cover and pull the two small lines apart, damage should be apparent if there is any. If not, you may have developed a leak elsewhere and need to have someone check out the system.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

My Haier 5,200-BTU Window Air Conditioner keeps freezing up. how do I remedied this?

You need to clean the unit outside(take it out of the window) with a water hose because it is dirty inside( you have to remove screws on cover and take cover off), be sure to cover the electronic control board with plastic so you don't get it wet.Clean fins on front and back with water hose and inside .
