Music player - doesn't open, it's like frozen, it keeps the screen on 'opening'
My N95 8GB doesn't open the music player, when I try it shows 'opening' but it never does - it goes frozen for many hours and all I can do is switch it off. All other features are fine. I already remove and place the battery back.

Plug it into a USB port on your computer. If it doesn't open on the screen, click Start, click Computer and locate your devise on the list of drives and discs, right click on the devise name then left click Open on the drop-down menu. The device files should display. You can then drag and drop any music files to any folder on your PC, normally your Music or My Music folder.
try this, open your side bar on your screen, press the play options on your music player on your screen if its playing to stop the music, if it isn't, then press the music player for about a seconds till you notice it changes size and drag it to your side bar. by then the music player will be gone from your screen and back to its home in the side bar..
What happens when you chose open to see files, this is how I us mine. I go to the folder tree and drag my files from the computer folder to the music folder on the player. If you use windows media player you can convert cd's to mp3 from the menu at the top. if you can not see the menu right click the top bar next to the now playing button, and chose classic menus. Then go to -> tools -> options -> rip music tab and look for the folder it will put mp3's in or change it to a folde you make at the top of the folder tree say ( create a folder named AAA. right click the top c:\ drive and create a new folder and re-name it aaa that will put it at the top). then in the rip music location chose mp3 rip when cd in inserted and close out and your good to go. rip a cd and drag it onto your player.
Try resetting the device it?s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds. IF THIS DOES NOT WORK TRY THIS: Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the Coby's website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
Hi, just open your toolbar on the left hand side of the screen. Keep your finger on the music player shortcut and slide it across into your toolbar and it should move across into your toolbar. This worked for me ok. Hope this helps. Arnie.
If I'm not mistaken you need to have all files that you want show up in Sprint Music Player on the memory card in a folder that says MUSIC or AUDIO. From there open your Windows Media Player and click on Menu and then Click Update Library. Once all Songs are updated exit out of and go to Sprint Music Store. From there click on Library, then go to music note (All Songs tab). It should show you all of the songs that are available. Click on anyone and they should all load on the Now Playing screen. Try that and see if it works.
THE SYNC FEATURE DOES NOT WORK ON ALL PLAYERS! WHEN YOU PLUG IN YOUR MP3 A SCREEN SHOULD APPEAR... OPEN THE PLAYER... CLICK MUSIC AND YOU SHOULD GET A BLANK SCREEN OPEN SONG FOLDER WINDOW AND DRAG SONGS TO MUSIC WINDOW ON PLAYER. MAKE SURE UNIT IS ON .THIS SHOULD WORK FOR YA!
