The player will say what voltage it runs at somewhere in the bottom or sometimes on the side where it pluggs in. you can buy a universal power cord from wal-mart or radio-shack for about 15-20$

I do use ebay, but these 2 cords say they are 12V and on the back of the unit it says 9V. thanks for your help. do you have your power cord you could give me the part number??
First Option: mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems... just try the following.. connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)... found out whether it is charging or not... if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)... if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging IF Charging Problem not Solved So Second Option: Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC And charging Problem will Solved Quickly
before you dump those batteries, check the charger. If the battery when charged runs the tool but dies out quickly then you are probably right. If the battery never seems to be charged at all, then it may be the charger.
the 12 volt car adapter only puts 9v to the dvd player. It is poorly marked. It really only runs on 9v. If you plug 12v into it it will smoke... thats what mine did.
