Hello,
if your PC can show the removable disk drive you should format it. In this case all the folders and media files will be erased on your player. You can make back up your files to the computer before it.
Then copy the media files to the player and try listen to the player.
I hope this action will be enough.
Bye, gylacz

I have music down loaded onto my SD card however when I try to play music phone says "Not Supported" How can I get the music to play?

Dear, please note that if you download a music then please do conferm that is will have to be fully downloaded upto its estimated full kb.
ex-if you download a song of 4023Kb, then your song will not be supported unless and untill your download is full.
if it is not downloaded fully then it will not work.
the same things happens with a software, video, themes, games.

Wont charge properly, music only last 5 minutes or so

Hello there :)

Try to chance the battery and see if it helps or read this site :
http://rubensmenswear.com/pages/photographs/oakley/mp3/oakley%20thump%20faqs.htm

The write on the site :
5. I'm sure my THUMP is fully charged, so why doesn't it play music?
  • Make sure the volume is not set too low to hear.
  • Make sure there are song files stored on THUMP. Connect THUMP to your computer and open the folder that shows the contents of the THUMP memory
  • Make sure you have the correct music file formats loaded into the THUMP memory. Currently, THUMP plays MP3, WMA and WAV file formats. No other music file formats are supported at this time.
  • Make sure the WMA music files you are trying to play are not protected by DRM. (See below for more information on DRM.) If the song files are protected by DRM, you need to download the DRM Enabled Utility found at www.oakley.com/thump.
6. Why can't I get a full six hours of song play time out of THUMP?
  • Many things affect play time, including the volume level, file compression and music file format. Also, lithium ion polymer batteries gradually lose their charge while not in use. These batteries are also susceptible to temperature.
  • Even though they represent the best technology available, lithium ion batteries do not perform best in high heat.
7. Is it best to completely drain the THUMP battery before recharging?
  • It makes no difference. Lithium ion batteries have no "memory effect" like older technologies such as nickel cadmium, so you can charge them at any time - even when they are not fully discharged.
Hope thats helps
If not then try to return here

Copying to phone

Normally, you cannot set complete songs as a ringtone. go to LG's website and check the manual. Full songs are generally too long to be used as ringtones.

Complete memory useage

You're probably using too many applications at the same time.
ie. Games, Internet, Music, Contacts, Wallpaper, Screensaver animation etc...
Save things like Music to your memory card.
Shut down some programs to give your phone enough memory to operate.
