Question about Panasonic Microwave Ovens

2 Answers

Panasonic NN_L737 works ok (when working). Problem is that frequently after hitting "START", oven turns on for a few seconds and then quits. Display reads "00", clock also reads "00". Pull power plug for 60 seconds and reconnect. Set clock to current time and retry. Sometimes OK, some- times not. Situation getting worse.

It could be the magnetron or the transformer.
Where there any unusual noises or smells from the microwave?
Hope that helps.......

In all likelihood the mangnetron is failed or failing, or perhaps even the Power Supply is faulty. You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man.
Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one

2 fuses in a panasonic does not sound enough.
have you checked the main incoming power protection fuse normally 10amp or higher.
most panasonics have approx 4 fuses so keep on looking

The microwave works for only 8-9 seconds, then stops

It may be in demo mode.  On some units if you hit the timer/clock button 4 times to turn demo off.
