    What kind of protection are you referring to? Do you want to install a firewall and antivirus software?

    I will need your operating system before I can recommend any free software to you.

How do i install mcafee total protection 2014 on a second machine?

If you have the license for just one computer, you won't be able to install it on a second computer. If you have multiple licenses, you can log on to your McAfee account from the computer you want to install it on, and download the setup and follow on screen instructions to install it. You can login to your McAfee account on this link:

How to fully protect your PC ?

Ok, First thing you should do is that you must have an anti-virus for you to be aware of it. Second, you may put a deepfreeze application for your computer to be stable (The Harddisk itself) the program may not be corrupted. Third, always be a good observer of your PC when somethings gonna wrong don't be bothered there's a lot of way of solving it. Fourth, always clean your PC environment the sorroundings of your area. And last you have to Clean the inside of your system unit.
TIPS in some memory problems:
- in case of computer beeping a long beep, pull out your memory then clean it with an eraser. Then try to put it again.
- in case of memory dump, please replace it with another one.

Power to house went out during area power outage. Everything came back on except the computer? Tries to restart by holding power switch in, unplugged and replugged power cord - no response on monitor. ...

When the power is returned after a power outage it can cause a power surge and damage electronic equipment such as a computer. This is a reason to install a surge protection power board and connect your computer equipment to a surge protection board.
The switch mode power supply may be faulty and replacing it may get your computer operating again.
If you cannot DIY then ask a friend or take it to a computer repair shop.

Pop-ups saying machine is infected

There's a good chance that the popup itself is the infection. Do not download what it wants you to download! I recommend downloading a few free pieces of software that will hopefully help you out. If you don't have any active protection software I recommend you download Microsoft Security Essentials, it's free and it's great. Secondly Malwarebytes (Which can be downloaded from download.com [or cnet.com]) is a handy virus remover, but isn't active protection. Spybot Search and Destroy is another piece of non-active protection with a good virus / spyware remover.
Try downloading these and running them in safe mode. To get to there, restart your computer and press F8 repeatedly as it boots up, until you see a boot menu. From there navigate to safe mode using the arrow keys and enter.
If you're not particularly computer savvy however, if you do have an infection I'd recommend taking it to a professional.

I need ur help again

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially and if I may remark, a very challenging and time consuming virus cleanup. Some that you could try:
  • determine what virus files/names are involved. Some would be appearing in "msconfig" startup;
  • some would not allowed to be deleted, try delete in Safe Mode;
  • in some instances, some services would have to be stopped using Ctrl-Alt-Del;
  • download, install and run RRT (remove restriction tool);
  • download, install and run Ad-Aware.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
