Periodically during Office Service Pack updates the system will ask for the original CD. This is done for copyright purposes to make sure that bootleg software isn't in the computer.

Do you have an Office CD to correct the prolem or a Key code?

Type "excel password recovery" into Google and you'll have a choice of many suppliers who sell software that will reveal an Excel password. I have tested most of their free trial version .Excel password recovery 5.0 is my favourite one,it is 100% recovery rate and easy to use.and most of all,it is the cheapest.just have a try

Dear Expert I am using Windows Vista TM Home Premium at my Notebook Pc( HP Pavilion dv-5) with Microsoft office 2007 since last 01 year. My excel files are not opening and I am receiving following message...

maybe you relocated the file itself, check first if the file you are opening is still in its original location on your hard drive, if not, manually open it by double clicking, do not open it inside microsoft excel.

I want to download microsoft word for free

Hi,

Sorry to say it but microsoft didn't get to be multi billion $$$ by giving it away. They will give you a free trial but eventually you have to pay.

If you want a "free" alternative, try www.openoffice.org version 3.x is now compatible with the 2007 word and excel docs and although they ask for a donation the software is shareware/open license and if/how much is entirely up to you.

I use open office on several of my PC's and fins it a very good alternative, but still keep a copy of the genuine MS version on one computer for a few features OO doesn't have.

My excel sheet is not opening

assuming you have Excel sw on your PC.
Assuming you are running XP.
Assuming you can start your Excel and Open any excel file using File/Open within excel.

You must associate Excel file with Excel program in your Windows Explorer.
Fastest way is Browse to any excel file with your Windows explorer (NOT IE)
Right click and select Open with...
Browse to find your Excel MSOffice program
Select Use always to use this program
OK

Microsoft excel file dose not open autometically

hi Friends

here is the solution ifi Excel opens without opening any file after double clicking on the excel file,

1. Tools>Options>General uncheck "Ignore other Applications"
2. Exit Excel and try again
If this doesn't work try to re-register Excel
1. Close Excel first and On the Windows Taskbar
2. Start>Run "excel.exe /unregserver"(no quotes)>OK.
3. Start>Run "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)>OK.
See the space between exe and /regserver

if there is anyother issue in which may i help u then feel free to contact me

Excel software not started

MS Office repair:
Go to the "Add and Remove Programs" in your Control panel. Click the "Change" and do the 'repair program' utility.
That should fix it, good as new.
Be sure to have your INSTALL disk handy (for all Microsoft products).
