OK, I have worked in large format machines. over legal size they really aren't considered 'personal'

"B" - tabloid - 11x17; "C" and up I am really not sure of the size, I believe they are named to "E" some 3x5 feet.

What is the size you need? How often? Would a service bureau help?

How about using a digital camera, input that, yes it would be a little lossy.

Says needs paper, but has paper. I've turned it on and off, still says same thing.

The spool of the printer has a job with a different paper size of the charged in the tray.

Delete the spool in the computer or in the printer. Ensure the size is 8,5x11" or A4.

Using scanner

well if the recipt is in electronic format save it as a file to your desktop[ and then open email address the email to the person to receive the receipt and use the ATTACH option to find and open the file. The recipt will then be placed in the header and when you send it will be posted. The only thing you have to worry about is do they have the software to read the format that the recipt was written in.

Sometimes better to copy and paste the details into an email and include the receipt number and the date etc.

That way they can reqad it and prinbt it out without trying to find a program to open and read it.

please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

How good is the scanner? Is the 122 dpi mentioned in the specs the actual or interpolated resolution? Is this a good buy for scanning artwork?

122 DPI is quite low. It is usually your actual resolution. For artwork try other makes like Xerox or other HP machines. DPI on those is up to 1200*600 DPI

I cant save a scanned picture to my computer

If you are using the HP Director, when you select you scanning options one of the options is the destination for the resulting scan. You can select e-mail, saving it as a file on your hard disk or network, putting it into the clipboard, etc.

Go to your local computer store or a Big W if you got one there and buy a standard USB printer cable. It has a small plug that plugs into your printer and a larger plug that plugs into your PC.
