Hi

you could either take back to where you got it from and get them to fix it or click on this link

www.dell.com go to support/downloads search through the drop down bars for your make model and operating system which could very well be windows 7
then scroll down to touch pad drivers and download it

windows may ask you to restart after the installation

good luck

Try connecting an external mouse via USB port. If that works you probably need to have the palm rest (top plastic piece that contains the touch-pad and buttons) replaced.

My Dell Inspiron M5030 Laptop Touchpad is not working at all. The settings could not load. What should I do to solve this problem?

Hi,

If the settings of the touchpad doesn't load, you need to reinstall or update the touchpad driver. You can go to "Device Manager" or Dell website and download an updated driver.

Hope this helps.

My mouse is frozen please help

try to restart the pc and check if the touchpad will still act on it. If not, try to use an external mouse and check if it works. Otherwise call Dell to possibly repair your touch pad..

No sound dell Inspiron 8200

If your touch pad doesn't work too, there is a connector under the keyboard that affects both the sound and touch pad. It may have come disconnected.
