EcoQuest Fresh Air Lamp replacement

I got 2 new bulbs for my Ecoquest when the screen said to "replace lamp"

I have tried both bulbs. Here's what happened.

I turned the unit on and the fan started. It said "Purifier off" so I hit the Purifier on/off button and the bulb flickered orange for awhile then went off. The screen showed Purifier on for just a few seconds then went off. The fan stayed on the whole time.

If you have answer for me why my new bulbs are not working, please let me know.
