Generic problem for all Vtech Phones

I can't figure out how to receive my messages when I am away. The book says to dial my phone number and enter my access code, whatever that is. I tried *5 for the prompt and *5 then 1 but now success. My old phone had a number right on the underside of the phone. How easy that was. I have the three handset phone. I need help. Shirley Bath

ApprenticeI read the book again and again and finally found the right page for the solution. These instruction books these days have a lot to be desired. Sleddogs
