What is the temp of the air at the nearest vent when it comes out. then what is the temp of the air when it goes back into the return air? check your ouside fan and be certain it is clean as well and that the fan and compressor are running .
You are not getting the 24 volt control circuit to coil need to make sure your 2 wire is in good shape and connected to the coil connections. If you have a ohm meter you can ohm out the coil and see if it is good. Be carefull cause the is 240 volts at the same spot on the contactor. So just pull the fuses out of the disconnect box and will be okay. Or turn off the breaker inside the house to the unit. If coil is bad just replace the contactor.
