Thanks to Window's genuine advatage update you will now have to reinstall your operating system with a valid copy. The genuine advantage checks the oerating systme for validity and if it doesn't validate then it shuts it down. The only thing you can do is buy a new copy of which ever operating system you prefer and reinstall it.

Windows 7 build 7600 this copy windows is not genuine?

The serial key that you used to install Windows is not valid, and cannot be used. If you used the key on the bottom of your laptop, you can open the Start Menu, Right-Click on Computer, then click on Properties, then scroll down in the window that opens, and click on the blue text under Windows Activation. You'll be able to activate your copy of Windows over the phone.

Remove ask for genuine microsoft software? - Solve this!

Welcome to FixYa!

If you're seeing notifications that the copy of Windows that is installed on your PC might not be genuine, or that you might be a victim of counterfeit software, it's likely that your copy of Windows was not properly activated or is otherwise not genuine. To fix this, click the notification and follow the steps to either repair Windows or-if you have inadvertently obtained counterfeit software-buy genuine Windows.

If you are using Windows XP, download and install the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification Application. It will scan your operating system and will remove the annoying message if it's a legitimate copy of windows.

Keep me posted.
Thank you for using FixYa.

A message appearing"you may be

Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications for Windows XP notifies you if a copy of Windows XP is not genuine. The notification messages only appear on computers that have failed the WGA validation process and that are running a copy of Windows XP that is not genuine. If you are running a validated, genuine copy of Windows XP, you will not receive notification messages.
Removing WGA Via The Command Line Restart your PC and boot into Safe Mode, usually by pressing F8 whilst your computer boots. Once your PC has booted open a command prompt by clicking Start then Run and typing cmd into the box before clicking OK.
Change directory to your System32 folder with the following command:
cd \windows\system32
Next you're going to need to copy the following lines to the clipboard, in order to paste them into the command prompt quickly. This is necessary to kill the WgaTray.exe process and delete the file before Windows has a chance to launch it again:
taskkill -IM wgatray.exe
del wgatray.exe
del wgalogon.old
If all the commands executed correctly you should have killed and deleted WgaTray.exe as well as WgaLogon.dll. You might also want to have a look for any WGA-related files (WgaTray.exe, WgaLogon.dll, WgaSetup.exe etc...) in \Windows\System32\dllcache and delete them, just in case.
Restart your PC to see if the changes have taken effect, if the WGA notifications are still there then you'll want to continue reading this next bit, otherwise you're done.

I strongly suggest that you format the hard drive and reload your software and drivers. It is possible you have a trojan virus, or your operating system isn't a genuine copy. Good luck

My xp verson is expier how to i m my xp is genun for free of charge

From what you have written I believe you mean your xp windows is not genuine and you are probably receiving a message saying that this copy is not genuine..There is something called as WGA (windows genuine advantage check) which installs itself and give you this message when you start up.If you look on google there are some ways to bypass it but unfortunately I cannot give you links or programs that does this for you as then we will be in breach of copyrights...It is not impossible but you will need to search around.I would suggest you try open source which is becoming a big competitor of microsoft, try ubuntu 9.04, it's linux based and excellent for speed and stability. The next solution is to pay microsoft to get a genuine copy which people rarely do!!!
