nothing at the console works grounded power wire from solenid to starter if i touch straight to batt straight to starter it turns over

Runs fine, then after turning it off for a few minutes, nothing. The gauges are displaying until you hit the starter button. Then they go out until you release the button. In the mean time, the starter button gets no response from the jet ski. No clicking, no nothing other than the dash gauges disappearing while the starter button is being pushed.

Starts for a couple times, then nothing. Has a Fresh battery. Sometimes it "clicks" but mostly there is no response from the starter. Sometimes I can jiggle the wires and it starts again. Then after I turn it off, it wont restart. I put on new cables battery and starter. Maybe a new starter switch?

Check the engine compression with a compression tester. It should be over 100psi,also check for hot blue spark on plugs,if not blue ignition problem.Weak Spark, but if blue and wont fire with ether the rings maybe worn, and compression to low...Best of luck to you!!!!

I just purchased a 92 Kawasaki 750ss jet ski but I cannot get it to turn on. I connected the lanyard, set the choke and turned on the gas but when I push start nothing happens, can you please help?

Take the positive booster cable attach it positive battery terminal (assuming the battery is good) and the other end to the positive terminal on the starter. This should make the starter turn over the engine. If the engine turns over then the problem is somewhere inbetween. If nothing happens then the starter is probably faulty. Hope this helps.

Took out to the lake runs fine for awile but once you let of the gas and it dies wont crank back up put carb cleaner and they ran fine now wont crank up aqain

Carb needs rebuild...idle jets clogged. That is why it will rum at high speed...the high speed jet is bigger and harder to clog. The idle jet is small and easy to clog. take apart and clean up jets.

Will not turn over on my kawasaki js 440

It sounds like you have a nearly dead battery. Try charging it with a battery charger, and have it tested after charging at an auto supply store.

Starter or engine froze?

take the spark plugs out of the engine and try to spin the imrellar shaft it should spin fairly easy and yes jet ski motors will freeze and bust most shops tell u that u only have to blow them out this is not true u need to run rv antifreeze thrught the engine in cold temps but you may have a froze impellar bearing that will bind up your motor take your whole impellar assembly out and try to turn the motor and see what happens

Not getting any spark to the plugs

for no spark the cdi is a better bet and there is no test for it but process of elimination buy cheapest part first you can use a test light to see if your getting power from your startor to the cdi and coils if the cdi has power when you turn it over its 90% its the cdi
