I have a sanyo microwave oven model EM-1511S for some 10 year and it work beautifully. However recently found the glass fibre reinforce resin sheet screen on the topside of the internal have a burnt hole. This sheet screen is used to screen and separate the microwave generator unit from the internal oven space. Can you advise where can I get a spare screen of similar material. If not what material can I put in its place ?

Javaid,
You might want to consider replacing the microwave if it is more than 8-10 years old. Sounds like you have a magnatron that is going bad and that is what does the cooking, and to replace it could cost you almost as much as a newer microwave. Hope this helps!

it sounds like u are talking about the high voltage fuse, they are not by passable unfortunately in your case. at the same time they are not expensive and easily availiable from electronics shops.
It looks like you would enter the cooking time then press POWER 1 to 10 times.
Once = 100%, twice = 90%, thrice = 80%, and so on, and "PL#" will appear in the display where "#" is the selected power level.
On some models, twice = 80% and thrice = 60%, etc. and "80%", or "60%", etc., will appear in the display.
Then press START.
Did that do it?
