Is your main set is on while the transmitter card in inserted on main set?

If so, try do "pairing process" to pair up main set and wireless unit.
Pairing process can found in Operating Instruction manual which come along with the main set.

I have a Panasonic SC-PT850 and had the same problem. My manual does NOT mention pairing process. Here is how on the PT850 for those who are also find half finished "solutions" not helpful:
    1. Press skip forward button (>>) on main unit and #3 on remote at the same time. P will show up on display.
    2. Press the reset cavity on the back of speaker receiver with pointed tip of pen or whatever.

That's all. It only took me 3 days of reading solutions like "read manual", or "check to see if unit is plugged in", or other silliness before I found someone with a complete solution explanation. If your model is different than SC-PT850, you will have to experiment with the different button combination, like I had to.

OK, I tried that solution, got the P to show up, hit the reset on the wireless device...STILL NOTHING! I'm really frustrated w/ this **** thing. I'm not some dummy who wasn't trying surround. I tried that, tried DVDs w/ surround on w/ SRD. Sound, Movie Dolby..everything! Someone please help!

You are likely to find the instructions for the EUR7662YWO remote in the manual for the home theater system. The main unit is the SA-PT750. The entire home theater system is SC-PT750, see the support page: . The direct link to the manual is . The code list for the remote is on page 10. Page 15 has more on using the remote control.

I hope this helps.

Hi when i turn my panasonic sa-pt570, it switches on and a fan starts for s few seconds but then it switches itself off?? any idea what could be wrong

That sounds like it could be getting hot, or there's something wrong with the over-heating protection system in there.

It might be that one of the speakers isn't connected properly, causing a short circuit that will draw lots of current (making it get hot).

Check all the connections at the back of the main unit, and all the speakers. If there are any strands of wire sticking out, unplug it, twist the strands together again, then carry on looking.
When you're happy that all the speakers are connected properly, try switching it on.

If you still get the same problem, the fault is internal, and you should probably get it repaired professionally.

I have SC-PT750 Wireless system with SH-FX65T and SE-FX65, the wireless does not work and the screen flashes W1 to W2 and the SE-FX65 red light stays on

1 Turn on SE-FX65 2 While pressing [>>/>>'] ] press the numbered button [3] on the remote control until "P" lights in the home theater unit's display The indicator on SE-FX65 turns green. 3 While "P" is displayed, press [I/D SET] 4While pressing [>>/>>'} press the numbered button [3] on the remote control.
This worked for me. I moved and lost the FX65A, and Had to buy a replacement off ebay,
Used this manual but I have to give mosyzlak props, cause he gave me the idea to look for it.

SA-PT750 rear wireless speakers don't work

Just solved this one thanks to another posting on this site.
Turn all components off.
Check to make sure your wireless card is snugly plugged into the back of the home theatre unit. (Of course you already have. Check again, though, while everything is off.)
Turn wireless unit on first.
Turn on home theatre unit.
The W1 light should be on and blinking red at you (darnit!)

Here's the magic.
Hit the >>/>> button on the front of the home theatre unit WHILE you hit the number 3 on your Panasonic remote.
The screen changes to a P
Then, the wireless unit light should change from red to green (HOORRAAYYYYY!)
If you have multiple wireless units, at this point, you should also hit the Set/ID button on the back of the wireless unit (it is the kind of button that requires something to poke into it to set it).

Then simply hit the >>/>> and 3 at the same time again.
All's good.

And by the way, shame on Panasonic. not only do they not seem to carry these manuals anymore (how hard would it be to have a PDF file and a link on a web page?) but the support info they did have did not contain these steps. Thanks to the FixYa member willray411 for posting this first!

Hi...I found your post while searching for the answer to the same question!  I thought I'd let you know what the tech support person told me, which worked immediately.  There is a button on your remote that says MUSIC with SRD above it.  Push this button, while surround sound speakers are on, and they should work instantly.  They are quieter than the regular speakers, so you might have to turn up the sound.  Hope this works for you (if you are still having troubles, that is).  The manual was no help with this subject.  So frustrating!

As far as I know there isn't any composite IN ports on the back of the SC-pt750 so that would mean you would have to directly hook it up to the TV. I have an SA-pt750, which has an S/PDIF port on the receiver so I would run a cable from the TV to the receiver, from there if the SC-pt750 is set to AUX then it should output the sound from the TV to the speakers. Hope that helps, if you don't have that S/PDIF port I think you might be out of luck!!
