Hello. I have TX-SR500E and problem. When I turn on my receiver it stays on but doesn't get information from my DVD players (digital and optical connecton; PCM or PROLOGIC, etc), video from my DVD players is showing through my onkyo on my TV but there is no sound coming from receiver! Tuner doesn't work either, sound from tuner doesn't come out to my speakers. Everything works perfectly few months ago. Nothing changed since then. Few months ago, receiver sometimes lose sound when I listen to the radio but after 10 seconds sound is back. Then I switch from tuner to DVD and back to tuner and there was sound on. Soundless period was growing and now there is no sound at all. Can you help my?

I have a Denon AVR587 running in 7.1. I have an unusual problem as the rear channels seem to play all sounds at a higher pitch and lower volume than all the other speakers on the system. I am using a voice matched set of Polkaudio speakers and they all sound the same on the front and center channels so I have ruled out a speaker problem. I have also ruled out a wiring problem as I have been over it several times. I have done every adjustment that I know of and the rears still sound very different, almost a tinny sound, even with the test tone. Does this sound like a problem with the amp and if so, how hard would it be to fix?
