Don't know what windows version you are running. See if you can boot up in safe mode by tapping F8 key while restarting, then attempt system restore to a previous date when it ran properly.

Have you tried to run Check Disk to automatically repair the system? From a command prompt type "chkdsk c: /f" and then you'll be prompted to repair at next startup. Agree and then reboot. Check Disk should run at next restart and repair/recover any bad blocks that it finds.

Check if it will load to windows, if not, there could be a problem with windows. Try startup repair on advanced boot options. Hope this helps.
