Question about Toshiba Satellite A205-S4617 Notebook
Everytime I try clicking on my webcam it says cannot open file corona\start_bg.bmp . How do I fix this or get that file back. Do I have to uninstall the camera assistant software and reinstall it? If so, how would I do that?
I recently downloaded Skype and also want the Web Cam (Chicony Camera Assistant Software) in lid of my Toshiba Laptop (P205-S6267) ... to turn on.
The Icon for this Web Cam is in my Task bar, however I can not find any mention of it among my list of downloaded programs.
I am unsure re. which model of Web Cam, I have. Could this be the model #?? UVC 1.7.115.0213

Shar I turn on the program for my camera, and all I get is Graph Render Fail, what am I supposed to do to make my darn camera work? I tried finding help on the site, but it's useless, nothing for troubleshooting. The day I got the PC, the camera worked fine and everything, and today, nothing... Can someone help me? Thanks
Ok, well if it happens again, what you should do is reinstall the software, and possibly update the drivers for the camera

I have had the same problem. I did however drop some background programs, and adjusted most every setting that Camera Assistant Software uses the end result was the camera doing what is was supposed to do. Sorry i cant be more specific. so just treat its a being buggy and tweak it. Good luck

Please help.... to troubleshoot this problem re: toshiba satellite L310 web camera doesn't work. the light blue color sensor display but appear only black screen.

have you installed any other software recently? you might try system restore and if that didnt work,try uninstalling and reinstalling your webcam driver

That is an image file, it may have been moved or deleted, looks like from the file path it's a background image. If you want a quick solution you could just re-install the software. If you're feeling techy go into MS paint (start,programs,accessories,paint) open a new image paint the background black and save it as a .bmp called start.bg then place the file in the Toshiba\corona voila you've replaced the file...

Tips for a great answer:
Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clickingControl Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
2. restart your computer
3. reinstall webcam software (CD) or from (internet)
