I have misplaced the instruction book for my weedeater and can not remember what the gas to oil ratio should be for my model. Are they all about the same? I have a Craftsman Incredi-Pull trimmer/edger, model #316791890, as best I can can read the label for it is faded.

The manual is listed at Sears parts for $33.00
I don't blame you for not buying it.
Engine appears to be a vertical shaft lawnmower engine.
Can you find any identification on the engine as to what brand it is.
If I had to guess I would error in favor of more oil. It will smoke more but there is less risk of damaging the engine.
Some per mixes are 50/1 and are claimed to be safe.

Most generators are 4 stroke and you do not mix the gas and oil. Try to contact the manufacturer for more information.

How much gas to oil ratio to run generator or straight gas

Hi,
Check for a crankcase with oil in it on the motor...if you have oil in the motor already then you do not need to mix it in the gas...
I am very sure that you will find this motor does not need the gas mixed...
Run straight gas... usually it is good to run Prem in small motors..

Will this work in my small snowblower?

Yes if what you have is a two stroke engine. If it is just follow the mixing instructions on the bottle for the proper ratio for your blower. The ratio is usually molded into the fuel cap on the blower.

Need to make 50:1 ratio mix. what i have on hand is the poulin 3.2 fluid ounce that makes 1 gallon at 40:1. how many ounces of this mix would need to be used to achieve the 50:1 mix ratio.

2 choices here
if you want to use the entire 3.2 oz bottle you need to add it to 1.25 gallons of fuel to = 50:1 ratio

if you have 1 gallon of fuel you need to add 2.6 oz of oil to the fuel to equal 50:1 ratio

hope that helps

Gas weedeater wont start

assuming weedeater brand weed eater, the carb. has a filter screen, that blocks and does not allow the pump to push sufficient fuel. A phillips head screw on the side of the carburettor secures a square plate, remove the screw and plate and gently brush the screen clean, dirt collects on the visible side.
Dirty foam filters if fitted change the fuel mixture and make it too rich to run.
and the fuel mixture knob, although secured by a tension spring, moves and may need to be readjusted
