Question about Xerox DocuColor 12 Color Copier

Error Code 9-357

I was running some B&W work on my Xerox and got a system fault. It gave me error code 9-357 but it won't go away. Can anybody help me?

Don't have the codes for that one BUT 09 --- codes always refer to drum/toner problems. Make sure the drum unit is plugged in properly, and cables/plugs etc secure

FAULT CODE 124-373 ON WORKCENTER 5225 WILL NOT CLEAR


Xerox 5225 keeps showing error 124-373 and cant one to enter into set-up or status mode.How to correct this error?.I have jobs to copy for urgent meeting soon.your email is needed

Hi there
I found some thing maybe do for you it may not be rhe right code you have at this moment but it come in handy for you.

31,004.40:6909: it's a mechanical initialization jam error. Pull out the paper tray to make sure it doesn't have a jam. Try also to manually feed some heavy paper or card stock through the printer to make sure the sensor in the preheater isn't stuck.

39,002.40 : DRAM test failure.

39,012.40:56208: "Cycle the power" and if that does not work replace the document feeder.

39,012.41: Document Feeder Optical Failure. Replace the document feeder.

4,0XX.6x: Process Control Software Fault.

· Reset NVRAM and then retest.
· Ensure ground integrity for the system
· Replace the EEPROM chip.
· Reboot the system.
· From the System Setup menu, go to "Information", "Troubleshooting"
· Service Tools menu.
· With the cursor at the top of the Service Tools menu, press both the Up Arrow
· and Down Arrow buttons to display the Hidden Service menu.
· Reset NVRAM is in there.

Error 04,041.66
Solution 1:

a. Reset NVRAM and then retest.
b. Ensure ground integrity for the system.
c. Replace the EEPROM chip.
d. Reboot the system.

1. From the System Setup menu, go to Information --> Troubleshooting -->
Service Tools menu.
2. With the cursor at the top of the Service Tools menu, press both the Up Arrow and Down Arrow buttons to display the Hidden Service menu.
3. Reset NVRAM is in there


Solution 2:

1. Turn the system power ON.
2. Wait for the Xerox logo to begin moving across the display.
3. Before the logo is centered on the display, press and hold the Back and Info buttons on the control panel.
4. Hold both buttons until the display reads “Beginning Service Mode Initialization”. Release the buttons and the system reboots into service mode with the Service Diagnostics menu displayed. Here is you problem.

9,035.4x through 9, 038: Fault codes associated when ink count flags are stuck
after melting 2.5 ink sticks. The following codes are recorded: 9,03x.41, where x= 5
for cyan, 6 for magenta, 7 for yellow, and 8 for black.

Troubleshooting Procedure
Step Questions and Actions Yes No
1 1.
Are the ink sticks all Xerox ink? Go to Step 2.
Run clearISCfault test to clear the error.
2 1. Manually verify that the ink stick is able to
advance in the ink loader chute.
Go to Step 3.
Remove any blockage and/or replace the ink stick.Run
clearISCfault test to clear the error.
3 1. Run the appropriate Ink Melt [1, 2, 3, 4]
Heater
test.
1 = Yellow
2 = Cyan
3 = Magenta
4 = Black
2. Did the test pass?
Replace the printhead.

9,005.49: Ink loader fault. The cyan ink melt heater is on, but the ink does not
appear to be dripping.

06 codes refer to exposure lamp problems..(or scan) check lamp coming on, scan carriage position etc, don't have the code list, so carefully move the scan carriage up and down, make sure it moves OK
