Hp 3600 printer cutting off left side of legal

Check your photo conductor unit or the toner cartridge and make sure the film on there isn't torn. If you are using a remanufactured cartridge it maybe defective. A lot of companies that refill cartridges sometimes damage the units and they may work for a while but eventually will fail. The other problem is that they don't empty the over flow bottle in the cartridges and that can cause excess toner to show up on the page as streaks down the page. The cartridges are made to be used only once and thrown away or sent back to the company for them to be recycled. I know HP sends a label with theirs for them to be sent back to HP at no cost to you.

I can't figure out how to change the printer cartridge on my hp 2175 p/s/c. The cartridges are not sliding in. Am I missing a latch or something?

Verify that your printer model is HP PSC 2175.

Cartridge replacing is not at all difficult. Just requires some getting used to. I will now redirect you to the official HP support website where you will see how its done exactly. Please click on the link in blue below:

Changing the Print Cartridges in the HP PSC 2175 All-in-One Series

I recommend studying the entire procedure before you attempt to replace the cartridges. In addition to that below are some general points to remember.

Things to keep in mind:

  • The cartridge must be the exact model.
  • Cartridges are keyed meaning they will only go in a certain way and not any other. So make sure you do not apply excess pressure because if you broke something, the printer is practically junk as you cannot find old parts and new ones aren't cheap.
  • Beware of fake cartridges.

What power supply is in the et1161-07? I am looking to upgrade the graphics card to a nvidia 9500, 9600, or 9800. They all require different wattages.

The power unit in question is a 250W supply unit. Nvidia series 9800 cards require 580W, the 9600 series require 300 - 400W, and 9500 series require 350W. All of these will require a new power unit. Antec is a more than adequate. Any computer shop should have a 600W unit for $100.00.

Will not give x85 as option and won't reconize intall disk.

What Operating system? And you shouldn't really need the disk. The needed drivers should be in support on the manufacturer's website. Find and download the files. Unzip the files so they can be installed.(they should self-extract to a new folder) And to install the driver(s) through Device Manager, select that folder instead of the D:/ E:/ or whatever your CD drive is.

The lights on the printer keep on blinking and I have cleaned the cartridges and have reset them. I also had them checked for ink and they are full. The orange light blinks three times and then stops. I...

Clear any paper or carriage path obstructions
With the product turned on, open the print cartridge access door. The print carriage might try to move into the access area. If so, allow it to move to that position.
Without turning off the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product. Unplug the power cord from the power source. The power cord must be unplugged to allow the parts to be moved by hand and to reset the paper feed mechanism, without the risk of an electrical shock.
Looking in through either the print cartridge access door or the output paper tray, make sure the print cartridges are locked into the carriage and have not come loose. Also, make sure that there are no obstructions under or around the carriage to block it from moving.
Make sure the print carriage can move freely across the width of the product by gently pushing the carriage to the left and then to the right. Clear any obstructions found. You may have to reach through the output paper tray to access the print carriage.
Close the print cartridge access door and plug the power cord back to the back of the product. Plug the power cord into the power source.
Press the On button to turn on the product.
Plug the product directly into a wall outlet Follow these steps to make sure that the product is correctly connected to a suitable power source.
Remove the power cord from any power strips or surge suppressors, and plug it directly into a grounded wall outlet.
Perform a partial reset A partial reset will return user settings to factory defaults. On some models, language and country/region settings are also reset. Perform a partial reset of the product by following the instructions below.
Unplug the power cord from the unit.
Reconnect the power cord into the unit.
When the lights begin to flash, press and hold the On/Resume buttons.
Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.
If the issue is resolved , you do not need to continue with the rest of the instructions on this page.
If the issue is not resolved , continue to the next step.
Remove and re-install the print cartridges Improper placement or installation of the product's print cartridges can cause the product to indicate a carriage stall error condition. Ensure correct installation of the print cartridges by following the instructions below.
With the printer plugged in and turned on, open the cartridge access door (see the illustration). After a moment, the print carriage should come to the center. The print cartridge carriage is the plastic part that holds the print cartridges. When the carriage is at the center of the access area, unplug the printer.
Remove the cartridges from the carriage and check them for damage. Check for obstructions under and around the carriage. Replace any damaged cartridges.
Reinstall the print cartridges.
Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.
Service the printer If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.

Printing

Most of the time, CMYK printers only work in conjunction of one another. If one cartridge is missing, it will require all of the missing or empty cartridges be replaced.

So, you'll need to purchase some more ink.
