that's happening with my tablet as well. i got it for christmas and it has been working, no problems, but now as soon as windows opens and my computer is fully on, it says "no sync...go to sleep". even though the pen is calibrated and still works...there is no screen display. it's very frustrating

hmm.. i'm suffering from the same problem on my mac book pro. When i first bought it a couple months back it was okay. after several times usage, the screen on the wacom just decided to go "no sync " and go to sleep without any reason. The tablet is still working fine though and i can still illustrate without the tablet screen. But it's freaking irritating. I called the wacom distributor but they don't seems to have an answer.

We had the same peoblem with our tablet: no sync/ go to sleep. We tried re booting the computer-no luck. We tried turning on and off the tablet.-no luck. The solution for us was simple: unplug the power source, wait a minute, plug it back in. Voila! It worked. I know we had a power outage the night before, so perhaps the problem was associated with the outage.

Hope this solution helps someone!

I have come to use my Cintiq 21 ux on a win7 x64 system with a twin firepro V5800 graphics card. My Mac 21" screen is fine but the Cintiq goes green when not receiving a signal and the green shows like...

The output from the graphics card may not be compatible with the screen. I would try to verify that first. Next look for any bad connections. Distortion to that degree in many cases is cased by a bad cable, connector, or just not being plugged in correctly.

Wacom cintiq tablet video isnt working

If you have Windows Xp, try right-clicking on your screen, click 'Propetries', then click the "Settings" Tab, then there will be a picture of two screens - one has a number 1 on it, and the other has number 2. Click on number 2 and raise the "color quality" from Lowest (8 bit) to Highest (32 bit). Also, take the "Screen resolution" up to about less than half way. Then click "Apply". You will get a prompt asking if you really want to do this, so just hit yes. Your screen should turn on immediately after that.

Ps. After you do this, hit "Identify". There should be a giant number 1 on your computer, and a giant number 2 on your tablet.

I had this same problem and just had to go into my system preferences on the imac and select display and then select/check the mirror monitors and now it is on sync-hope that helps! After I did that though my color is off on the cintiq so I am looking for suggestions on how to fix it as the calibration did not fix the problem.

Worked fine, now all of a sudden it no sync/go to sleep

I had this problem. Tried everything. Then I hooked the tablet up as my main monitor and adjusted the resolution. Also adjusted the resolution on the other monitor to the same. Then switched them back to normal and it worked.

HI, I've had a similar problem. This solved it for me. Connect the cintiq first to a dvi to vga adapter, then connect that to apples vga to mini display port adapter.

worked for me so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Grip pen not responding

You could try recalibrating the tablet.  Open the tablet control panel, then click "About." Then hold Control while clicking "Diagnose..." and on the next screen -- the Diagnostics window -- you'll see a new button labled "Recalibrate..." Clicking that might do the trick.

Good luck.
