My Medion PC is infected with spyware I am looking for the recovery key of medion to reboot the system to factory settings. kind regards, Hans de Iongh

    by "recovery key" do you mean the windows key code to reinstall windows?
    or do you need a special key code or password to enable the recovery?
    What type of spyware is infecting your PC? we should be able to clean it up.

Two solutions after bios boot press f10 that will bring you into a recovery partition if your model has it. if you have a cd and you need your cdkey download keyfinder which will give you all your cd keys on your system from home this helps www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

When you acquired your new MEDION PC, MEDION provided you with an option that can be used if you need to recover the genuine Microsoft® operating system that has been preinstalled on your machine.

All of the recovery solutions will address the extremely rare instances of failure due to operating system file corruption or modification or hardware failure. In no way do these options limit your ability to add or remove new hardware and software to your PC, or limit your ability to make a backup copy of the operating system.

The recovery media options that MEDION provides for our variety of products are:

CD Media − which are often called "recovery CDs". This is a CD or DVD clearly marked with the PC Manufacturer's brand that can only be used on the PC you purchased. The media will be included as part of the materials you received at the time of purchase and will include all files necessary to restore the operating system on the PC.

Hard Drive-based Recovery System − Recovery files are placed on a separate partition of the hard drive that can be accessed if system recovery is needed. No CDs are needed and in most cases the PC can "heal" itself.

No Media − the PC does not include a recovery solution. In the event of a recovery situation, please contact the PC Manufacturer.

well hello there if there is a boot cd that u made of came with youre sytem its usally called utils or somtime like that.
this will boot youre system into a recovery mode and utilty where you can recovey of youre system via youre recovery partition marked RECOVER and follow on screen guide with a bit of luck youre system should recover back to factory

You need to get to the Bios through setup (F2) Change boot configuration to boot from CD Rom. Using your Windows Setup disc,Reboot,press R to get to recovery console.From there you can rebuild your boot configuration.
