Some of the Samsung models do have service bullitins regarding a change in the mounting and size of the LCD. Contact Samsung customer service and let them know what has happened and they will help you.

I have had a Samsung s630 for a couple of years now and it has worked great. All of a sudden the pictures on the screen are looking all washed out with a green tint and appears to have lines through it. ...

If teh photos on the pc still look good the screen is damaged or at least to flatcable from the screen to the camerabody.

If the foto;s on the laptop and the screen look alike then you might try to clean the chip inside the camera. Thats a delicate job and you might let the delaer do it for you.

cost about 50 bucks

Pls let me know if it worked

I purchased a samsung ES70 compact digital camera last year and lately a black line has appeared across the bottom of the screen, could I get rid of it or would i have to purchase a new camera?

If the line is only on the display and not also on the photos when you download them to the pc, then you only need to have the LCD display replaced. The screen should cost like ~$20 as you can see here:

Nikon coolpix s630, lens error, blurry, ticking sound

The following blog outlines some repair options for a lens error. They won't work for all cases, but they're worth a try if the camera's no longer under warranty:

The view screan on my Samsung S630 camera is all blurry

Hi Guys

Every time I'd try to turn my camera on, it would give three beeps and then go off.

I decided to search your Fixya tips, and I found it. All I needed to do was press and Hold the OK/Menu button while I turned on my Samsung S630 camera and it worked!!!!!!
Thanks for the tip, and I hope Someone else will get the same benefit

Samsung Digimax S630

Hey ana936,
This camera comes with a one year manufacturer’s warranty, and if the camera is not working the manufacturers warranty should cover any repair other than damage to the camera. You could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store to have them send it out to an authorized service center. The manufactures warranty will repair the camera first and if the repair is not cost effective, or the camera is unrepairable the manufacturer should replace the camera. I hope this helps!
