Have you plugged it into your computer? it might just need a charge. let it sit for a couple minutes while plugged into your computer to see if it leads you to the "connect to itunes" screen. give me a good rating if this helped

How do you upgrade ipod touch 2nd gen to be able to play fifa 11 we thought this was a 3rd gen when bought from argos in feb10 but told 3rd gen is onle 32gb or 64gb

to update your ipod touch second gen to 4.1 version you must connect to your itunes account on your computer with ipod attatched sync all apps, music, videos, everything because it will delete everything and needs everything backed up. then go to your ipod on itunes and it will say update, click it it will take around half an hour to update and restore you ipod fully. This worked for my ipod touch gen 2, it kept saying when i tried to update i still have things on my ipod not synced to itunes when i have synced multiple times but it updated ok and i do not notice anything missing. this is all i know about this i hope it helps.

My ipod is disabled and wont connect to itunes i try to put my password in but wont let me and i tried to restore it but it wont turn off

One way that should work is to put your ipod into dfu mode. to do this you must:
  1. Hold down the sleep and power button for ten seconds till the screen goes black.
  2. when the screen goes back release the power button and continue to hold the home button until the screen shows connect to itunes.
  3. Plug your ipod in your computer start Itunes and click restore.

*NOTE* by doing this you will lose everything that is currently stored on your ipod.

What should i do if my ipod touch 32gb is freeze

if your iPod touch is frozen, hold down the sleep and home buttons for several seconds until the screen goes black. at that point it will reboot and should work fine.

Four weeks ago I bought an iPod Touch 32GB. After listening to my iPod on an external speaker I tried using the headphone and the sound is just too low. I thought my headphone was damaged but I tried it on...

Sounds like plugging the external speakers in has damage the spot were the headphones go in. If this is under warranty that bring it to apple store.

Back light won't turn on. everything else works. I've tried resetting, and reformatting the ipod touch 3rd gen to default setting. nothing. i returned it to Apple, they said it was accidental damage,...

well if the backlight is broken and you have done every attempt from a reset to taking it to a apple store and they concluded it was from water damage there isnt much you can do on the user level unless you have experience in micro-component repair. In my experience i always send my ipod to a online repair company that guarantees there work. I have never had any issues with them and they have fixed 5 of my ipods on a dozen occasions. Click here for ipod repair service. If you feel that this is not cost effective id say use it as it is or replace it. but really it most likely needs a new screen but without myself taking it apart or you taking it apart and looking over the circuitry i cant say for sure that a screen is all that would need replacing.

If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day.

Battery drain cannot charge anymore, model ipod touch 32gb

Get a new battery. If it is still under warranty take the thing back to the store and have them deal with it.

Dropped itouch now half of screen is gray everything else works fine just can't see half the screen

It's most likely a broken LCD. You can use a ipod repair guide that will show you how to replace the screen step by step, or you can go to the ipod repair nyc.

The touch screen on my ipod touch is non responsive please help

Hi dballd,

generally the ipod touch will only respond to a finger moving across the screen.

Your problem however is a known hardware fault. Take it back to the store you purchased it from or preferably an apple retail store, and they should replace it for you on the spot. Just inform them that you have updated and restored the firmware several times.

It must be under warranty though. You have one year from the purchase date, unless you also purchased applecare.
