In network security + acronyms what is 3DES and definition

Triple Data Encryption Standard (DES) is a type of computerized cryptography where block cipher algorithms are applied three times to each data block. The key size is increased in Triple DES to ensure additional security through encryption capabilities. Each block contains 64 bits of data. Three keys are referred to as bundle keys with 56 bits per key. There are three keying options in data encryption standards:
  1. All keys being independent
  2. Key 1 and key 2 being independent keys
  3. All three keys being identical
Key option #3 is known as triple DES. The triple DES key length contains 168 bits but the key security falls to 112 bits.

For anyone who has lasik eye surgery?

Corrective eye surgery like Lasik is extremely safe when performed by qualified doctors. Like any surgical procedure, there can be complications, but the complication rate is extremely low. Complications affecting vision after laser eye surgery is very less, even it carries less risk of infection than wearing contacts. Most of the eye surgeries are covered by insurance and some surgeons offer payment plans that help you get the surgery done within your budget. Cost is not an issue when it is the matter of your eyes.

When I turn it on all I see is very faint green. Can this be fixed?

Yes, probably with a new image intensifier tube, or it could possibly be weak ccfl inverter with it coil. Contact the manufacture and they will give you ruff estimate on the cost for repairs. stewbison

I have a Ariel FT 300 it will not turn on

Hello. It seems these Russian made monocular won't operate aftera while. It is a common ocurrance with these and others NV devises.

It probably the image intensifier tube that is bad. It would be cost prohibitive to have it repair by Famous Trail Optic. I am take a guess here. The cost would be about $100 + shipping to and from, and about $200 for a used Russian image intensifier tube. New tube will be approx. $400.

Try if you have their address and phone give them a call. They might give you a deal. Normally what happen they will tell you it is none repairable but they will give you a great deal on another Russian made monocular. I'm really sorry for you. GB you...stewbison

Scope worked it was on a 22 lr shot it twice and the scope went black and will not light up at all now

Sir, there could be number of things that when south on your scope. Don't ask ATN for help. They will tell you box it up and sent to them. They will give a ruff estimate on what it going to cost to fix it. Another thing that they will tell you after they have received your scrope. "The scope is not worth the money to fix it.... You'll have more money invested in older model. This is what ATN will do: We (ATN) take in for a trade on a newer scope. We will give you excellent price for your none functioning scope" Watch it

I have repaired some of these factory repair jobs. Some times I wonder if they really repair them. Normally, it could be broken wire, bad switch, I am thinking this a Generation 2 image tube in it. I am also sure it has smart electronic in it (small microprossor). Self controlling gains, auto focus, auto shut off, low battery indicator.

You can unscrew the lens and look at the image intensifier tube and see what color it is. Does it have a thick black ring around the image tube? If it does, then this is the voltage multiplier for the tube. Operation voltage will be from 12KV to 18KV and some of the other tubes that cascaded in 3 stages will have operating voltage of 45KV in the form of switching DC volts off/on/off/on.-- It similiar to AC voltage, but not quit.

If you really take this scope apart. Draw diagram of the printed ciruit boards (ruff drawing, don't put the components on it just where the wires are solder to the boards), label the wires and indicate where on the printed circuit board where each wire goes. This also implies what on the other end of the wires. Thay way if wires brakes your'll know where it goes. Especially be carfully. If you get shocked, it not as bad as a spartk plug wire. About 1/10 the value.. I could continue, but look for bad correction, cold solder joints (they will kinda gray with no shin), check the switches. Best of luck, Keep you rubber in a cool dry place and get occilators in the exhaust tuned. Weld a steel plate on the valve covers that way a push rod want kill a spectator in the stands. stewbison-

Hello i need the wiring diagrahm for a bushnell 26-0102.

Hello, Forget about the schematic for this Night Vision. Night Vision Inc had the Russian manufactures make and assemble this NV devise. The Bushnell buys it from Night Vision and installs their name and logo. It come down to the EX-Soviet Union manufactured will poor quality parts and the US companies sold them with a much hight cost.

I know for a fact the Night Vision will not give the wiring diagram or even the electronic schematic because I sure they don't have it, and if the do, then it called: "Priopietary". It belong to them, and nobody else which includes us. Sorry. GB...stewbison

Hi the ir is not working on my bushnell 26-0400,is there any way you can help (repair ?)

I had the same model, same problem. Bushnell replaced mine under warranty, If they needed to send it for repair it had to go to Russia. I guess it was cheaper to give me a new one. If its not under warranty Bushnell will send it off for you but it will cost quite a bit. My new pair lasted about 2 years with a lot of usage. Gen 1 night vision tubes do not have a very long life span. You may be better served buying a new pair of night vision binos.
