Question about Canon PIXMA iP5000 InkJet Photo Printer
When the printer reaches the part of the image where the banding blemishes are laid down, there is a faint "knocking" sound as the print head tracks across. Starting to look like a mechanical problem
I think the problem is mechanical and the printer is a writeoff. As usual with printers, not cost effective to repair! Solution is a new printer unfortunately.
