Hello Neonblackfyr, Hi, There are no 270K capacitors, Its most likely a resistor, can you give a snap shot of the part. 270 is the value and K is for kilo OHMs in resistors, if you are sure its a capacitor, 270 means 27 x 10 raised to the 0 power is equal to 27 x 1 which is 27, K is +/- 10 percent, no such capacitor exist, the closest is 27uF but not 270K. here is a link to clear thing up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceramic_capacitor for capacitors and for resistors: http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/components/resist.htm. Enjoy.

My 19 inch technica lcd tv won't stay on

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter..

1990 camry 4cyl 270k miles intermittant rough idle

Sounds like you have an intermittant problem, check all your wirirng, then you can move on to ignition related coil reluctor wheel ( in side the distribitor electronic control module again inside the distribitor. It could also be a fuel system problem do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn on the key, the fuel pump should cycle until it devlops adequate pressure ( usually 3 - 4 seconds)

Mitsubishi Vs-5003r

change both 47uf 100v caps , both 47uf 50v caps and the 10uf 100v
cap in the primary side of both SMPS transformers. also replace R903 270K
that sometimes opens and the 1k resistor Damon spoke of ,then solder the
heck out of the board. Be careful not to crack any traces from the
components as the traces are very fragile and a mere bump of a component on
the front of the board can cause hours of troubleshooting.

Picture wont turn on

Red LED flashes probably five times.
You have not mentioned the model no, so I have to guess it is few years old model.eg FE2 chssis or similar.
Most common reason, R618 270k ohms in power section has gone high.
Second, screen voltage control is slightly misaligned.
Third, high value resistors on tube base, normally two connected to screen voltage control pot have gone high.
You need to have some knowledge , a multi meter and soldering iron and know safety procedures before trying yourself.

Dead Mitsubishi VS-5006R.

The most common problem with this set in the start up circuit of the power supply. There is a resistor, a 270k, R903, and even if it checks or looks good replace C920. Also there are small resistors off the flyback transformer that will open up because of bad capacitors feeding those circuits. Also any capacitor that has a swollen top or body, replace. Double check and make sure the B+ fuse is not blown. If it is, before you replace it, check to see if the horizontal output transistor is shorted. If it is, replace the transistor, BUT intall a 100 watt light bulb across the blown fuse. If , when you turn on the TV set, the light bulb glows bright, one of the deflection yolks is probably shorted. Unplug the set, and pull out one of the yolk plugs. tun back on the set. If the light now glows dim you have the bad yolk. If it does not and is atill bright, unplug the set, replug in the yolk, and take another yolk plug out. Do in this order and replug back in the tested yolk and make sure you unplug the set each time you do this or you will cause more problems. goos Luck. Please do not forget to rate this thread.

Power Problem

A few things come to mind, but if you have no solid state experience with TV repairs, you really should let a trained tech do this repair. There is a resistor that changes value in the power supply that goes bad sometime, its R902, a 270k 1/2 watt, A capacitor that goes bad also in the power supply, C920- 10mfd @ 100volts,and R540 off pin 5 of the flyback will open up or cold solder connection.. Remeber stay safe as this is no place to be experimenting with. Good Luck Ps please dont forget to rate this thread.
