I forgotten the code for my N73 cell phone,when i switch on the phone,i have to enter the code to activate my phone,now i have forgotten the code and how do i unlock my phone? the handphone shop is asking for $70 to refresh the phone and unlock it and it takes 3days. is there any other way that i can get to unlock the phone?
I'm using sony ericsson's K610i phone, phone lock is activated and i have forgotten the password, as i turn on my phone it demands phone lock which i don't remember! Plz help me out i am getting mad with this problem. Thanks.

No, the website link does not address this question at all. The best I could do is send an e-mail to Sony Ericsson support - twice - but the message failed, saying 'you are not authorised to access this website'. I am really despairing as the phone shop couldn't help in person either and I really need to be able to access my phone book. To unlock handset you have to give your mobile EMEI number which is backside of the phone,just remove it,you got the IMEI number,then you have to give your network service provider.

If you need the SIM Pin number to switch the phone on, then you have to enter any Pin number 4/5 times, then the phone will request a PUK number. This number was on the plastic card that your SIM card was attached to. If you don't have it, only your Network Service Provider can supply it to you.
If it's the Security code you need, to get into certain settings IE. erasing received calls, missed calls, timers etc... the Nokia default is 12345 if you didn't change it, but if you did change it and you've forgotten it, let me know, I'll tell you how to retrieve it.
default lock code for cell phones is the last 4 digits of your phone number....unless you changed it in which case you should follow these instructions:

If all else fails...take it to the shop and have them do it for you.
