Do you have all the cords.

You will need to simply plug in the power cord to the wall and then plug in the AV (red, white, yellow) cords to your Television.

You may need to select the input for the TV to RCA.

Good luck.

The power switch is located on the top of the console.

What is it about?

The N64 is the third home-console published by Nintendo and is the successor of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was competing with the Playstation 2 and the Dreamcast.
The name Nintendo 64 comes from the fact that it was one of the first 64-Bit consoles. The "64" can also be found in various game titles like "Super Mario 64" oder "Donkey Kong 64".
The console was released in 1996 and the last game was released in 2002.
Which made this console popular was mostly the nintendo only milestones. The Zelda game (Ocarina of time) is among fans, still the best Zelda game ever released. It was also the debut of the first 3D Mario and Donkey Kong games.

I cant move

Try removing the cartridge from the console and blowing into it to remove dust.

Unplug the N64 and let it sit for 10 minutes and cool down.

Reinsert the cartridge into the console and attempt to load your save again, and also check your controller connection.

Do you have than one video setting-sometimes there is video one--video 2, video 3

check the back of your game and see if it says input then it goes to output on the tv or vice versa

Set up of the nintendo 64 console.

There is a big empty space on the back with a small plug on the inside. There should be a "power brick" that slides in there and then plugs into the wall.

HELP

does the console turn on(lights) any sound , I'am going to guess no, if you have a gamecube or snes with rca cables use those and see if it works, the rf adapters for gamecube and n64 are cross compatabile as well, however the one for snes isn't the same, you may just need another cable, also try setting the tv to ch.3/4 and if you have more than one coaxial input try changing to another , if the console is not turning on then it may be a bad power cord or the mem pak isn't seating right or the console has died, most likely the rf switch has died thought, rca will last longer anyway, either go get one from a local gamestore or if you cant find one for 64 get the gamecube cords they have the same connector on the console end. Hope that helps
