Re: SYSTEM ERROR 0603080000008
I have look over the HP service manual and your 060308.... isn't shown. The manual jumps from 060305 to 060309. Hmmm. Could you have typed it in wrong? If not I would look at the items for 060 ETAL. Probably a bad printhead though as it is the most likely. I have shown a link below that you can get a free copy of the entire HP service manual for you mahine and walk through the processes to isolate the problem. Good luck and hope this helps you.

You should update your printers firmware and reload both Mac and windows drivers for the same printer. I look at this as more of a driver problem. Firmware and drivers can be located here. If problem persists, try to approach this instance by using the elimination method. remove pc from network, test with only macs connected. then remove macs and test with only PC connected. then finnaly, install this printer directly to pc and test the performance and then directly on one of the macs and test.
1. Try to print from local system if it does not then reinstall printer driver. check catridges. 2. Now right click on the printer using sharing options, share it again. 3. On the other computers using network icon, browse the printer connected system. Explore the system till you see the shared printer and double click it. It will take 2 to 5 Minutes and then your printer is network connected. 4. Now remove the old printer icons. And check printing using the new one.
This seems to be a problem on these printers. I have five of them on my network and I had to use a generic driver to make them stop shutting off the print spooler on my print server. I use the LaserJet III driver which is a good HP generic driver. I found it to be best to uninstall all of the 1022 software and install the printer using the above driver that is part of the windows operation system therefore there is no need to download one.
Reset all the i/o active channels, i/o ports, memory etc of ur printer by using printer menu. And then load factory defaults. Then configure the tcp/ip port again and aassign ip address. Try it , i think printer memory is full
