    Dharmesh, are you sure your connections strings are correct - user and password? Also is the SQL database configured to allow access by the user you have invoked?

    If you give me a bit more detail, I'd be happy to recommend a solution...

Our software is a VB oriented software and SQL based. In this software requires winxp sp2 and 512 MB ram. We installed this software on several system. Some systems working fine, however in some systems...

Win XP SP2 is no longer supported by Microsoft & most manufacturers.
Visual Basic has a habbit of leaving odd dll files out when building exe files as it checks the win23 bin for files and doesn't add the odd file.
Installing VB on the faulty machines will place the missing dll's in the win32 bin.
Hope that helps.

Before installing primavera p6, check whether any SQL databases with the same name exists. Uninstall the SQL if the databases created during the previous failure installation of primavera p6(go to add or remove programs to uninstall). After uninstallation of SQL express, try to run installation files for primavera p6 will solve your problem.

Adodb connection

In VB6 you would use ADODB. This is for ADO and is used for accessing data (read, write, update, etc.) from different data sources. Your connection string will vary based on the data source you need to connect to. Here is an example for a SQL connection:

"Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source=your_server;Initial Catalog=your_database;User ID=sa;Password=your_password;"

For VB.NET you would be using the ADO.NET toosl and a connection string as well.
