Question about Memorex Televison & Video
You posted problem could be interpreted two ways:
1. will not power on - there is no indication, no light, nothing at all. Then this would be a power supply problem internal to the unit. It could be just a fuse, an open transformer or a blown regulator. Repairs wold require opening the unit, familiarity with electronic circuitry and components, use of a DVM and a soldering iron, diagnosis and parts replacement.;
2. There is a power indicator light but the unit will not come out of standby and therefore will not operate. This could either be a firmware glitch which could possibly be resolved with a reset; unplug from the mains for an hour or so. Or it could be a built-in protection signaling that there is a detected internal fault. If so, it would be the procedure required in #1.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
