Question about Seagate HDD 40GB 7200RPM ATA100 2MB (ST340014AP) Hard Drive
Well if it is a problem with your hard drive you pretty much only have 2 choices from here. you can take it to a computer repair shop and (hopefully) have them pull the info off for you (most likely onto another hard drive), or you can get a second hard drive, load an operating system onto it, and then set up your current drive as a slave drive and (hopefully) access it to pull your information off. Unfortunately unless you have a GOOD friend who does computer repairs it's going to cost you money.
