Question about Lexmark JetPrinter X1185 All-In-One InkJet
Every time I go to print something, the error reads "problem communicating with the printer'.
I have installed the printer etc, but to no avail.
The error message also reads that I have to open the cover, ensure the cartirdges are snapped in palce (which they area) and try again... all to no avail.
Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated
Plz try with another usb cable and usb port if the problem is not solved then you have to send the printer for servicing

Tips for a great answer:
Disconnect the printer from your computer.
Rebrick (pull out power supply, black box where the
power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30
On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
Delete the Lexmark print object.
Reboot your pc.
When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.
6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list again, then try to print again.
