On that model the heater in behind the back wall of the drum. To access the heater place a screwdriver between the top and front panel and pop the top up.The heater housing will be attached to the top of that back wall of the drum support

lift the top you will need a putty knife in the front there are two clips one on each side push in and lift up once up there is a screw on each side remove and the front comes off

Where is the thermal fuse located on the Performa dryer model PDET910AYW?

Hi. The fuse is mounted directly on the heater element, in between the heater duct, and duct exhaust.
