To reset a password you don't need a computer. In settings scroll down to security and you will be directed to password or other security options like pattern, pin fingerprint or password. chose something different and then reset it

I'm convinced you already did read the user manual. There are three things you can reset:
1. User settings. In menu mode P, you can undo all the settings you made. Page 69.
2. Reset all settings. Page 151 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset all. All settings will be restored to factory settings.
3. Reset file numbering. Page 154 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset file numbering.
In the same menu is also the view firmware version. Yours should read Coolpix P90 Ver.X.X .
The latest update of firmware for the P90 is 1.1 Great chance your camera came with that revision already. If you registered your camera with Nikon, they will inform you when a new firmware is released.
Really, there is nothing more you can reset on the camera.
So if something is wrong, it can't be helped with the reset you have in mind, because that reset does not exist.

sounds like a buffer issue. I would need the model number of the set and for you to also clarify about how much of the picture is visible at the bottom.( percentage of screen area). Then I can assist you properly

You need to reset the tv to factory mode by pressing a code with the tv off,,,, mute--182--power and wait to see the menu appears on screen chose *reset to factory* press ok and wait until process done, them turn it on .

i think you need a new screen ? but if you find the factory reset code some phone let you chose other test your phone screen ? but make sure you dont reset your phone to the factory reset settings ?

LEAVE TV UNPLUGGED OVERNIGHT TO RESET ITSELF. IT SHOULD BE BACK TO NORMAL AFTER POWER DRAINS FROM POWER SUPPLY. THAN GO INTO YOUR MENU SETTINGS AND TURN SAP OFF

hold the Menu button on the TV (not on the remote) down for three seconds.
Note: Shop Mode is activated in the same manner: Pressing and holding the Menu button on your TV for three seconds. To avoid accidentally setting your TV to Shop Mode, avoid pressing and holding the Menu button on the TV for three seconds or more.
