Will not brew expresso, the water goes into the drip pan at the bottom instead of coming out of the two spouts. I do not remember the model number, It is a magnifica and I have had it for approx three years. It grinds the beans, but that is all.

If the water pressure coming out of the steam/hot water arm is fine, then the issue is likely with the brew unit or the grinder. Here are a few things you can check:
Clean the brew unit: A dirty or clogged brew unit can slow down the flow of water. Remove the brew unit and clean it thoroughly, making sure to remove any coffee residue or buildup.
Check the grinder: A dull or clogged grinder can also slow down the flow of water. Make sure the grinder is set to the appropriate setting for your coffee beans and check that the grinder is not clogged.
Check the water flow meter: The water flow meter measures the amount of water flowing through the machine. If it is clogged or damaged, it can affect the flow of water. Try cleaning the water flow meter with a soft-bristled brush and see if that helps.
Check the water filter: If your machine has a water filter, it may be clogged and affecting the flow of water. Replace the filter if necessary.
If none of these solutions help, it may be a more serious issue and you may need to bring your machine to a professional for repair.
There are two nozzles in front of the machine attached together, the nose of the bigger one on the top slides into the smaller one on the bottom. When it makes coffee, the spout outside the machine becomes lower so coffee can come out. When it is done making coffee, the spout goes up so water/coffee drips in the drip tray. If one of the nozzles breaks, the spout on the smaller one will not go down and the inside end is lower and coffee goes inside the drip tray. It has nothing to do with cleaning.
This
is what it sounds like to me. The defrost system melts away the frost in the
cooling coils every 6 or 8 hours. This water goes into a tray at the bottom of the freezer compartment. there is a drain spout in the bottom of the tray. The water then goes through that into a plastic drip pan. This sits behind the vent below the doors. While the fridge is running, the water evaporates out into the the room. If the pan is missing, or cracked for some reason, the water goes onto the floor. And that's were the water is coming from. The Fridge is not broken. With the model number of the fridge, probably located on a placard inside the fresh food compartment, or possibly the freezer compartment, you can order a new drip pan from a parts supply house for something like $25.00 The easiest thing to do would be to put in it's place an inexpensive aluminum pan of sorts. that usually will do the trick and save money. I hope this helps, Happy New Year, Mark
Try this, if the machine has a pregrind door(usually on the top front) then use the button to tell it you are using pre grind coffee, if water comes out the spout this way then the grind on the grinder is too fine, if it goes out the drain then the coffee passage is blocked, remove the brew unit and check/clear tubes, also clean the spouts on the door of the unit.
Two questions: 1- Is the coffee grounds wet or dry? 2- Does the spout drip water when the machine is just heating up? If the grounds are dry then the brew chamber is not getting any water. Turn machine off, let it cool down, then remove brew unit. Behind the brew unit there is a white valve with 2 red o-rings(sometimes black), if you look closely there is a small lever between the o-rings, get a small screwdriver and gently lift lever and spring, if water came out then the problem is in the brew unit, unscrew the stainless steel screen which is under the large red O-ring on the brew unit and clean, also make sure the tube on the unit is clear. If the hot water spout is not dripping when the machine is heating up then you're good.
This is most likely due to a bad o'ring. The bar you speak of...Does the unit have a small spout pointing upward from the area?...with a groove? Is the o'ring in that groove damaged or missing? When the grounds are compressed in the piston, the brew unit lowers down onto this spout and seals on it. The high pressure water then is injected upward inot the brew unit. When this seal fails the water simply leaks into the tray when there are grounds providing backpressure. When rinsing and no backpressure some of the water may be getting through. Make sure you lube up any seals with a food grade lube. Olive oil will work in a pinch.
when you remove the brew groupyou see a plastic piece with 2 seal on it at the bottom of that there like a funnel with little hole hole get block with old coffee clean that so extra pressure come out thereif its block its should be full of water in there and for our slow brewing did you change coffee brand defferent expresso bean diff setting dont forget if you move the setting 1 move it only when our grinding coffee 2 when you move the setting dont forget to make a least 2 or 3 cup before moving the setting again let me no pierre
