If you are referring to a recovery disc then, Yes, computer manufacturers have their copy of recovery discs that is intended only for your system model. You should call their respective hotlines in order for you to purchase one.
Depending on how old your laptop is you may be able to get Acer to send you some recovery CD's. If not get a orginal copy of your operating system and reinstall OS.
Another option is to just get a new copy of windows and do a fresh install. You can get the discs but you have to pay for them from toshiba. This way you have a copy of windows that you can use on this computer, and move it to the next one when your done with this computer. Rather then proprietary recovery discs.
Thanks, Lee
Some programs that will help you do a recovery disk is Norton Ghost, Acronis, and some others.
I recomend you to use Norton Ghost thou that one is very easy to use.
Originally your PS2 is preventing copied games and other formats like "PAL" (even though it is a orginal disc). There is an alternating way to play copied discs and all other. You need to get modify you PS2. contact this website www.swapmagic3.com you will find the right device.
Its possible that the disc has gotten too rough to be read right.
Something you can try doing is making a copy of the disc if you have a CD burner. Sometimes the software that CD burners use are a little more sensitive than just the regular windows reading software.
Make a copy of the disc then try using it like you did the orginal.
Just be sure you keep the orginal copy, just in case.
