Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
Make sure you are using HE detergent in all water saver washers front or top load. and do not over use detergent as too many suds and the washer will not rinse properly.
once a month run a cleaning cycle through with bleach or a product called smellywasher it works well. also whirlpool has a product called affresh.
once you get the washer clean you need to clean the clothes , use arm and hammer washing powder
not soda or smellywasher at smellywasher.com, some independent appliance stores sell it also.
otherwise you are just putting clothes full of bacteria into the washer and the smell comes back.
also recomended by the manufacturers is to wipe the door boot with a disenfenctant wipe and leave the door or soap cup slightly open to allow more air flow when you are done washing.
