Question about HP Deskjet 5440 InkJet Photo Printer
I can't seem to figure out how to change the margins from regular paper to the 4x6 size for photo paper. It says to change the margins manually but I'm not seeing an ability to do this within the paper tray. Do I just place the paper on the tray in a certain way and not worry about adjusting margins? Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
It's in the actual print settings. under file go to page settings, you can change it ther for as long as you need to print. Or you can apply it to keep those settings permenant. But if you choose to print a full sheet you will have to change the settings back to letter

try to find the margin settings of the application that you are printing with. If margins are setup in a wrong way it will print anywhere it likes.
Aso see the paper size. e.g. A4, A3 etc.
I think you should take a normal a4 paper and print it and see the size of the image and the size of the document that you have created.
Another way to test it is to copy the image(content) only and paste it in some other application like MS Word or something else and try to print it in 4x6.
If it is an image and you can copy it to MS Paint then do it and cut everything else (crop the image accordig to its' size), then print.
Remember to place the paper on the right hand side of the paper tray. (You can do the reverse also if it required.)
