I installed the Microsoft Laser desktop 4000 keyboard and wireless laser mouse 5000 and now my microphone will not pick up any sounds at all. The funny thing is that the mike was working BEFORE I installed the keyboard.

Make sure it's plugged into the Pink Jack on the computer. You probably already know that, but if not hope this helps. Bud

Install the latest drivers. Many people forget that the computers need help to recognize what you are plugging in. Also, go into system controls and check the Sound settings. Your mic volume may be set too low.

Hi
Regarding with this problem it is a software problem. When you brought a laptop it is not ready to use you need to install the motherboard driver. Get the motherboard CD installer in your package box and install. So that the camera and microphone will working properly.

Targus usb optical mouse not recognized by windows

Hi there!

The Targus WIreless Mouse with Power management is supported by Windows and does not require additional drivers. To confirm that Windows has loaded the drivers:

Click Start>Right-click My Computer>Select Manage

Select Device Manager

Expand the Human Interface Devices section.

You should see an entry for USB Human Interface Device. If you don't see an entry, right-click on the Human Interface Devices entry and select Scan for hardware changes.

If you don't see any results, look for any yellow question marks or exclamation marks underneath the Unknown Devices category. You may find the mouse listed there. If so, right-click on it and select "Update Driver". Select "Yes, this time only", then click Next, leave the default selection as is and click Next. If the update fails, try again except this time, after the first "Next", select the advanced option, "Install from a list or a specific location", then click Next.

Select "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install".

If a default selection appears on the screen that follows, click Next and it should install. If successful, I recommend you restart your machine for any changes to take effect. If the installation isn't successful, you may need to submit a ticket on Targus' support site.

I hope this helps you! If you have any questions, feel free to reply.

Dynex wireless mouse DX-PWLMSE won't work

The mouse should be Plug and Play. Did you install the drivers before plugging the mouse's receiver in? The PC has to have the drivers first in order to take advantage of the Plug and Play capability. If you plugged the mouse's receiver in before installing the drivers, unplug the mouse receiver, uninstall the driver, reboot your PC, reinstall the driver, then plug the receiver in and you should be fine.

Otherwise, press the Connect button on the receiver first, and then the Connect button on the mouse, and that should establish the connection. You don't need to disable your touch pad in order to use the mouse.

How can i download a4tech webcam coz i dont have installer?

Depending upon the model of your camera, download one of these to your PC:
A4Tech PK-35N driver
A4Tech PK-635 driver
A4Tech PK-935 driver
Just look on the underside or behind your camera for a sticker which should tell you the model number.

Instructions on How to download and install the driver properly:
  • 1.) Scroll to the bottom of the page and type the security code from the image into the box and click "download" button.
  • 2.) Save it somewhere where you will remember after download. We recommend that you save it on your desktop, so it will be easy to find.
  • 3.) Unplug the PC Camera from your computer.
  • 4.) Open the downloaded file on your Desktop by double-clicking on it.
  • 5.) Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • 6.) When it's successfully installed, please restart your computer.
  • 7.) After you have restarted the computer, connect PC Camera to USB on your computer, Windows system will find the hardware and automatically install the corresponding driver successfully.
  • These drivers can be installed in the operating systems of Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows 2000/2K, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 2003.
