Have just bought Brother printer and from the moment I plugged in the Lcd was blank and the exclamation mark has not stopped blinking. Tried things to no avail.

Check the following things
1.check catridges are placed properly and are having ink and safety seal is broken2.install printer driver in your pc(after installing the driver only you have to connect your printer to your pc)

Many things.Maybe there is toner/ink cartridge problem, paper jam, electrical problem and many more. If you tell us what is the model of your printer and is this blinking is repeating .

When i plug the printer in all that lights up is the red exclamation mark.

check your ink or there isn't any paper in your printer

Solution for ; "Unable to scan documents on to the computer from the Brother MFC 210C"

In this case u need to update the drivers........
Insert the Software CD to the computer....
Right Click On My Computer.....
Click on Properties........
Go to Hardware......
Click on Device Manager.....
Now on that list u will find a option which will say Imaging Devices Under that u will see ur camera with an exclamation mark(You Can Sometimes see that Exclamation Mark Under Other Devices) if it doesnt have an exclamation mark but it says cannot find driver u can just uninstall and reinstall the software......
But if it has a Yellow Exclamation mark then right click on the Camera click on Update drivers......
Click On Browse my Computer for software..........
Select the CD Rom drive from my Computer........
And click nxt not it will say ur hardware is installed and ready to use....

Brother intellifax 770 No Power? LCD is blank

I have the same problem: no LCD. Determined that the outlet was fine, but the machine did not respond when unplugging/plugging it in. Support said I needed to take it in for repair. Unplugged it, unscrewed the bottom plate, and found a blown fuse on the circuit board connected to the power cord (needed to gently lift it from its cradle).
