Is in your old computer an USB slot to plug your flash drive?
Have you on this the driver for your drive ? This is the firts step to transfear your document to your new computer. If no try an other method as connect the computers in an internal LAN connection.
It depend on whith is your operating system.Tell me what is your operating system on each computer.

Hi, please try to open the sandisk from other pc. But remember don't forget to scan the device by updated antivirus. Some time virus create those problem. If its open then back up your document 1st after that format the device. The copy all your importent document on the device. After format its also start working in your PC. If not then the storage life of your sandisk is finished & its naver worked again. Hope its clear for you. any question ask me again please.Thanks.

I just purchased an 8GB USB 2.0 flash drive from SanDisk Cruzer. I plugged it in, it recognized it then opened to documents what do i do next?

You use it like a floppy disk, you can copy files to and from your computer to the flash drive, then take the flash drive out and the put into another computer to share, ie. to download and copy files to from other computers such as a friend's computer. The files can be anything, music, photos etc.

I have a Cruzer Sandisk memory that worked before, but not anymore

If there's nothing on the drive you don't already have backed up, right click on it and select format in my computer.

If you need the files off it and do not have backup copies then you can either send it to the pros for data recovery or gamble on purchasing software that may fix it for a little less money.

Let me know which it is and I'll provide you with more details.

How to use flash drive

Cruzer Micro is an USB external memory where you can store files.
It is automatically detected and installed on all Windows OS from Windows 2000 onward, same on Mac OS and recent Linux versions.
All you have to do is plugging the device into USB.
After the flash drive had been automatically installed , it will be displayed under Computer as an external disk.
You can copy and transfer files using Cut, Copy and Paste functions, or Send to function in windows, or the file manager, depending on the OS used.
In Windows, before unplugging the memory from USB , it is better to turn off the computer or use the 'safely remove USB' function located near to the clock, on the lower right hand corner.

SanDisk Cruzer® Micro 2GB WON'T Download pictures

Try using Windows Explorer to copy them. I'll try to help you out.

When you plug the drive in and a window pops up, select "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer". If they show up in the right pane as thumbnails, select View>Details from the menu at the top.

Left click the top picture, then scroll all the way down to the bottom. Press and hold the <Shift> key, then left click the last picture in the list. This should highlight all the files.

Right click on any of the pics, then go down to "Send to...". This opens several choices, but you probably should choose "My Documents". This will copy all of your pics into your My Documents folder.

Once you get them there you can move them to your My Pictures folder in much the same way.
