Fixit Expert ran me through a number of possibilities whittling down the trouble to either Bad Tv or signal trouble. He led me to talk to satelite company while chatting with him. Tech support from satelite co Did not know either But I discovered through all the hoops in trying to diagnose the trouble that it turned out to be Signal trouble with positioning of the satelite and interference from trees. We reset the receiver and all was well.

I can't change the "View Mode" from STRETCH on HD channels. What do I do? Also I can't find a manual.

If using a cable box change the resolution to 720p. Adjust size with the cable box's remote. It should have an hd zoom # button or format button. If you are using an antenna or no cable box some channels are just going to display that way and there won't be any way to change that. The manual can be downloaded here: http://www.sharp.ca/manuals/default2.asp

Hava 2 40'' LCD tv/monitor which has a green line on only certain channels (maybe 2 or 3 out of 120). No lines when playing CD or DVD.

“only certain channels” I think something wrong with the main board. If you need further information about part #, price, please state the brand, model, and version…

Yes, an internal fuse soldered on the power board. The power FET transistor has also shorted and will need to be replaced.

Trying to hook up my pc to my Sharp LC19sb24u flat screen not sure what cords I need

If the connection looks like:
0e69081.jpg
you would need the corrisponding cable:

30831b6.jpg
If your Sharp LC19sb24u has additional audio inputs they are the same as if hooking up your speakers on your computer.

If your Sharp LC19sb24u has a connection such as: (HDMI Connector)
6921030.jpg
You will need a DVI to HDMI cable:
6e38ef9.jpg DVI attaches to your computer and the HDMI end attaches to your Sharp LC19sb24u.

Hope this helps, if it does not - please write back and we can help you further.

One channel fuzzy

Tis is an ongoing problem I seen increase alot over the past few months. From what I can gather, all the channels being broadcast over going from the analog to digital, there's no big suprise to anyone. However, the change from analog to digital is changing at a faster rate, so when you look at the TV some channels will be fine and others will have grey lines, fuzzy picture. The only solution-you need a TV with some kind of digital tuner. On the TV itself if the (TV has one) it will say "SD" or "ED" which stands for standard digital or enhanced digital.
