There is a thermal fuse attached to the main control, check for continuity if none replace fuse.

No lights on whirlpool quiet partner ii -- is it dead?

The main board sends power to the display lights. Check with a multimeter for voltage coming out of the main board to the display board. If no voltage the main board is bad or the fuse is bad.

Whirlpool Quiet Partner II. Does nothing at all when you try to start it. Seems latched tightly and I double-checked and reset the circuit breaker. Thoughts?

CHECK THAT THERE IS VOLTAGE AT THE CONNECTION TO THE D/W. CHECK WALL SWITCHES, GFI OUTLETS FOR TRIPPED, THAT THE WATER TO D/W US ON. IF IT TRIPPED CIRCUIT BREAKER. MAY BE SHORTED INTERNALLY.

I have a Whirlpool Quite Partner II dishwasher that does not seem to have electricity. The 20 Amp breaker is OK. What else can I check?

you need to also check the main power line to the dishwasher.there is a bigger chance that the control board has gone bad, also need to check the thermistor on the bottom of the machine this could also give you a power failure problem

Is there a fuse box on the whirlpool partner ii.. my drain was clogged and now there is no power to the dishwasher

Hi, Try checking the circuit breaker to see if it tripped. If not, did you maybe unplug it from under the sink by accident? Check this and let me know. Good Luck, Shastalaker7

Quiet partner ii just stopped

Most likely it has an internal fuse or relay gone bad. Check the curcuit w/ a "glow stick" power identifier available at Lowes or Home Depot.

Washer stopped mid-cycle, water in the bottom of the tub. Circuit breaker popped due to over-load. Reset breaker and it immediately popped again. Could this be cause by a jam in the grinder assembly?

My dishwasher just quit mid cycle. (still has water in it) It is a whirlpool partner 1. I checked the breaker and it wasn't tripped... but i reset it anyways. When I tried the dishwasher again it worked for a second and turned off. I have done reading about the thermo fuse but can't find it. Not sure how big of a problem this is.
Dishwasher is 5 years old.

Thanks,
Dale
